Monte View Quilt

We are very happy to share our newest pattern with you, Monte View.

Monte View is based on an original 1870’s antique quilt in Lou’s collection.  It is named after a guest house in Healesville. Unfortunately very little is known about it…

Much like the original 1870’s antique quilt (see picture at the end of the post).

Monte View is a scrappy-style reproduction quilt. We love the quirky placement of fabrics

and how the geese are “chopped off” at the bottom of the quilt.

We have made our quilt using our Valley Hues fabric line by Andover Fabric. A guide to

what fabrics we used for the Lemoyne Stars and Flying Geese can be found in the pattern.

We will give you their details so you can see their original block and download the instructions to sew along side us.

We are so happy to show you Sienna.  

Our latest range of fabrics by Andover Fabrics is arriving at 

your local patchwork store in June 2023.

Sienna is Lisa’s grand-daughter and she is as sweet as the prints in our Sienna line. The main whimsical floral print is a reproduction of an antique document piece and the coordinating prints in soft colours will create beautiful quilts. We hope you love a little old world charm in Sienna...

Le Chateau by Max & Louise for Andover Fabrics

Le Chateau was created based on three designs from early 1800's French neckerchief designs that were hand block printed most likely in Provence. We then drew on our antique quilt collections to create the complimentary prints. With it's rich colours we hope you love Le Chateau as much as we do. 

 Our first print is called Tristan. There are five border stripes accross the width of fabric.

Le Chateau started to appear in shops in October 2022.
